It’s January 2016, the first month of the new year. Just like every other year before this, people want to make the best of their time. If you haven’t made your new year’s resolutions yet, here are 20 suggestions to get you started.

  1. Lose Weight

This is always on the top of the list. Most people feel they should do better in the weight department; this is why we have the next resolution on the list.

  1. Join a Gym

Every January the gym is full of people who make this resolution. Finding an open treadmill is next to impossible, but this year you will win out.

  1. Eat Healthier

Along with your new exercise regimen, you will start eating your veggies.

  1. Stop Eating So Many Sweets

Around the office everyone brings in those great cookies and cakes, but now you are serious and there will be no more of that.

  1. Quit Smoking

Because you are going for an all-around healthy lifestyle this will have to go as well.

  1. Quit Drinking

It’s okay to have a drink every now and then, but if you are trying to do #1, why drink your calories.

  1. Travel More

There is a big world out there, go see it!

  1. Be More Adventurous

Like your mother use to tell you when you were a kid, “How do you what you don’t like it if you don’t try it?”

They accept you no matter what, so you might as well go hang out with them.

  1. Don’t Buy Every Latest Gadget

That latest thing will be the old thing in two months. Besides you are sticking to your budget right?

  1. Learn to Cook

Guys if you can do this you can get any woman you want.

  1. Read More

In 2013 alone 304,912 books were published in the U.S.; how many of them did you read?

  1. Learn a New Language

This will do you a world of good when you are looking for a restroom in Spain.
