Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, on received Letters of Credence from top countries, both neighboring and foreign.
A Letter of Credence is a formal letter, sent by one head of state to another, which formally grants diplomatic accreditation to a named individual to be the sending country’s ambassador in the receiving country.
The Letters of Credence are usually presented personally to the receiving head of state by ambassador-designates in a formal ceremony.
Buhari, received representatives Paul Lehmann from Australia, Vesselin Blagoer from Bulgaria, Thordur Aegir Oskarsson from Iceland, and Hajiya Afsatu Olayinka Ebiso-Kabba from Sierra-Leone.
