Civilian Vigilante otherwise known as the Joint Task Force JTF, assisting the Nigerian military have found a Chibok girl with a baby in Sambisa forest.
Amina Ali, who was among the 219 kidnapped school girls for over two years by Boko Haram insurgents from Chibok in northeast Nigeria has been found alive. Amina was on Tuesday found in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno state .
19year old Amina, was found alongside a 5-7months old baby boy, who is believed to be her child .Reports revealed that Amina has reunited with her family in Mbalala, Chibok, Bornu State.
‘‘She met her parents, who confirmed that she is their daughter before she was taken to the military base in Damboa,’ Ayuba Alamson Chibok.A local in the Chibok area, who prefers anonymity, said :her father’s name is Ali and the girl’s name is Amina. “I know the family very well because I have worked with them, being a spokesman for the families of the Chibok girls.’
Head of the Chibok girls parents group Mr. Yakubu Nkeki, also confirmed her name said she was 17 when she was abducted.
Yakubu added that she is the daughter of her neighbor. He confirmed to the our correspondent that Amina, was brought to her house.
Some leaders in the Chibok community also shared some words with Wazobia Global Times. One of them whose name is Hosea Abana, said that Amina was found in the forest breastfeeding a child.
“Amina Ali Darsha Nkeki from Mbalala was found in Kulakaisa area at the fringes of Sambisa Forest, and she was breastfeeding a baby” Abana said
