Overcoming Limits

Micah McDade was born with cerebral palsy and has used a wheelchair his entire life. Doctors told his parents that he would never walk, but he was determined to prove them wrong. On May 20, 2016 at Harmon Stadium in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the surprise of his fellow classmates, teachers and on lookers Micah defied the odds and walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma. He walked proudly to standing ovation of cheers and applause. Micah has undergone multiple medical treatments and physical therapy to accomplish, what was said could never be done.
