By; Dayo Fasasi, A Nigerian journalist Didi Akinyelure, has emerged winner of the second BBC World News Komla Dumor Award. Didi, a business news anchor with CNBC Africa, will start a three-month placement at BBC in London in September as part of her prize. She has been with CNBC Africa since 2013, report revealed. The award, established in honor of Komla Dumor, a BBC World News presenter, who died in 2014, seeks to celebrate African journalism and reward exceptional talent. Timothy Addigi, from Tiv tribe in Nigerian is set to launch his innovation. With Addigi’s work, agricultural innovation is certainly on the rise on the continent. The tractor has been named as “Ijodo”, meaning “labour” in the Tiv language. Addigi stated “I designed and built this tractor, which is 100% Nigerian, with a team of skilled individuals”.
