Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has recently elected Mr. Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud as their new President.

Mahmoud, emerged victorious in eagerly contested election on Monday, after gathering 3055 votes to defeat contender Joe-Kyari Gadzama, who polled 2,384 votes.

The Chairman of the NBA Electoral Committee, Ken Mozia SAN, announced the other election results as followed:

          Dajan Gal and Monday Ubani, Office of the Vice President

          Olagunju Isiaka, General Secretary

          Ohagba Loe, First Assistant Secretary

          Balogun Oyeyemi, Legal Adviser
