Caterpillar invests US$1 billion in Africa

Team Nigeria Leads Other African Teams at Rio Paralympic Games

History was made at the ongoing Paralympic games when Kenya’s Samwel Kimani clinched victory in the men’s T11 5,000m (for blind athletes with guides) to give both Kenya and Africa a first gold medal at the tournament. Kimani, guided by Boit James in the race, clocked a time of 15:16.11 while Brazil’s Odair Santos won the silver medal clocking a time of 15:17.55.
