UACO Congratulates Gambians for peaceful Conduct: charges Jammeh to Step Down


Africans In The Diaspora Calling On President Jammeh of Gambia To Step Down:.
The United African Community Organization (UACO), USA, wishes to congratulate the people of the Republic of Ghana and President elect, Nans Akufo -Addo on the recently concluded successful elections in the country.
The organization also is appealing to the Gambian people to exercise maximum restraints as events continue to unfold in their country. We urge President Yahya. Jammeh to respect the will of the Gambian people as expressed in the elections where Mr Adama Barrow emerged as the clear winner, and hand over power to the man duly chosen by the majority of people of Gambia.
UACO also expresses its’ unflinching support and solidarity with Nigeria’s president, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, Liberia’s president, Madam E. Johnson and Ghana’s outgoing president Mahama , for their exemplary leadership roles in resolving the Gambian crisis peacefully

Finally, President Jammeh of the Gambia MUST follow the honorable path set by other African leaders and step aside and let Africa’s emerging democracy to continue to flourish.
