The newly sworn in President of Gambia ,Adams Barrow  has said that the country will not be safe for good governance as long as ousted president ,Yahya Jammeh remains in the country , he made this known in an interview he granted  Al Jazeera .He added that the ousted President must leave Gambia immediately  so that governance will be easier .

Yahya Jammeh has been offered asylum by many African Presidents and Heads of state  .He is presently considering Guinea,  a

neighboring country in West Africa..

The newly sworn in president is expected back in the country once the ousted president leaves the country .
