It is a new dawn indeed as self-driving vehicle will be on our roads sooner than we think. This was made known on Tuesday by John Krafcik, CEO of Wayno, the self- driving arm of Google at a web summit in Portugal. The roll out of the self-driving vehicles which gives the public the opportunity to ride in them will take place in Phoenix, Arizona where tests on these vehicles have been taking place.
Mayor of Chandler, Arizona, Jay Tibshraeny believes that this is a major step and the city is glad to be at the forefront.
The public gets free ride during the roll out, the passengers will be able to ride alone in the Chrysler Pacifia vans. This is a major milestone for autonomous vehicles, many self-driving companies are already looking at year 2020 for the full take off on US roads.Though few cases of self-driving crash have been reported, many are excited about this breakthrough in technology.
