Black Panther Movie Puts the Black Race On the Center Stage

Black Panther is a 2018 movie  produced by Marvel Studio and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures. The movie premiered held in Los Angeles on January 29, 2018, it was formally released for public view on February 16, 2018.  Since its release, it has received praise and admiration from blacks and non blacks all over the world. The movie has succeeded in restoring the hopes of black race made up of Africans and African Americans in their heritage, unlike other movies which showcase black in bad light, the movie showcases Africa and the entire Black race as the cradle of world civilization.

“Black Panther” movie is reported to have grossed over $400 million worldwide, it carried a $200 million budget. The movie was  directed by Ryan Coogler (“Creed”) and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa who succeeded his father as the king of fictional African nation of Wakanda. His peaceful kingdom got threatened by outside forces, including the arms dealer Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), a former Wakandan out for revenge.   He did all he could to restore peace in his kingdom

Lupita Nyongi’o the Oscar award winner from Kenya featured in the movie as Nakia, T’Challa’s former lover and a War Dog whose first scene in the movie was at Sambisa forest in the North Eastern Part of Nigeria where she fought and secured the release of the women and men abducted by the terrorists.

The movie will no doubt rule the Box Office for a long time.
