United States to Invest 22 billion CFA in African to Boost Cashew Production

West African countries like Senegal, Guinea- Bissau and Gambia are expected to receive 22 billion CFA Francs from United States in the next three years to boost production and exportation of the products to the United States.

The Cashew tree is a tropical evergreen tree that produces cashew seed which can grow as high as 14m (46ft) according to Wikipedia, the species is native to northwestern Brazil  but it is believed that  Africa produces around 40% of the estimated 2.6 million metric tons of raw cashew every year.
