The event was attended by distinguished personalities from all walks of life, in his address, the Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations, His Excellency, Tijani Bande welcomed all to the epic event and also used the opportunity to appreciate the great works Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi is doing in Nigeria and all over the world.
The Media guru and the owner of Ovation Magazine, Bashorun Dele Momodu introduced the globally acclaimed preacher and philanthropist, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, in her welcome speech reiterated the motive behind the event which is to achieve recognition, justice and development for the people of African descent in Africa and around the world and to accelerate global strategy and actions to eradicate poverty, and achieve peace and social justice for people of all faiths and ethnic groups around the world. She added that her life experience in UK where she lived made her start Esther Ajayi Foundation, according to her, she faced challenges but she was able to overcome these challenges. She enumerated the goals of Esther Ajayi foundation, she added that love supersedes all things so people should love their neighbors.
The Secretary of Unification in Europe, Dr. Richard Fasunloye who represented the baba Aladura and the Leader of Cherubim & Seraphim Church worldwide, His Eminence Solomon Alao JP who was unavoidably absent talked about the history of the church and the journey so far. He also thanked the globally acclaimed preacher and philanthropist for her contributions especially towards the newly inaugurated Moses Orimolade University in Omu Aran. His Eminence Rev. Mobiyina Oshofa, the spiritual head of Celestial Church worldwide who was represented by Superior Evangelist Ayo Osho , a member of Pastor in Council Celestial Church of Christ and Director of Finance, Celestial Church of Christ, UK & Ireland Diocese reiterate the need to teach people how to fish rather than keep giving people fishes which can be done through training and empowerment which according to him will enhance self-reliance. He emphasized the need for prayers in everything one does in life.
Prof. Sanni, the chairman of Moses Orimolade Planning and Implementation Committee said that history was being made with the epic event at the United Nations Headquarters, New York. He listed the motive behind the establishment of the University owned by the Cherubim & Seraphim church which is to train human capital development to enhance poverty alleviation. He also appreciated the contribution of Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi through Esther Ajayi Foundation with the contribution of two million dollars with the promise to invest additional twenty-eight million dollars on the institution.
The President of Madagascar Parliament, Hon. jean max rakotomamonjy thanked Esther Ajayi Foundation for organizing the event, he added that he is impressed with what the foundation is doing in Nigeria especially at Moses Orimolade University. He also used the opportunity to share with the gathering the situation of things in Madagascar.
Other speakers at the event are Congressman Marcos Yar of the Parliament of Guatemala, Dr. Richard Hellman, founder of MERCLE and CIPAC, a lobbyist group, Dr. Nadeem Amar, Former Mayor of Julis and founder, OHR Druce Committee for the culture of peace,, Dr. Lazaro Burak Sasson, a former adviser to Minister of Economy of Guatamala, Dr. Alberto Zucconi, President of World University Consortium and many more.
Many spiritual leaders from Cherubim & Seraphim Church and Celestial Church of Christ attended the program, the attendees include His Eminence, Ebaho, His Eminence Segun Ajayi, His Eminence Ibikunle, Cardinal Odunbakun, Pastor Isreal Oladele Ogundipe and many more. The spiritual leaders prayed for Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi and her husband, Rev. Dr. Ademuyiwa Ajayi. It was really a very historic event that will be remembered by members of White Garment churches globally.
