Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi Charges Leaders to Preach Tolerance and Unity

The General Overseer of Love of Christ Church in United Kingdom, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi has charged nation’s political leaders to preach tolerance and lay emphasis on things that unite us as a country rather than the ones that have the potentials to cause disharmony and disaffection.

This is contained in a press release issued to create awareness for the 2019 edition of Celebrate The Comforter 2019 which is an annual event which started in 2017 in London, According to Rev.Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi “ this is to bring the Celestial and cherubim and seraphim churches together and to tell the world that we believe solemnly in the word of God” She added that the 2018 edition, a joint revival tagged ‘Celebrate The Comforter’ and themed ‘Unity In The Holy Spirit’ was held on Saturday, 28th of July 2018 at United Palace New York and it recorded a huge success and attendance, the 2019 edition of the annual programme is slated to hold in Lagos Nigeria at Tafawa Balewa Square on the 20th of July.

She concluded by saying that the religious leaders and traditional rulers particularly have a special role to play in ensuring that what remains of peace in the country is jealously sustained. Religious leaders should however, readily accept blames for the present moral decadence among the youths because it appears they have failed in their roles as the set of people to mould the future for the youths, they should therefore work in unison with the government in ensuring that those that visit places of worship have messages of moral uprightness consistently drummed into their ears.

She added that Youths who excel in academic endeavours should be celebrated in churches and mosques to encourage others and get it registered in their subconscious minds that excellence is appreciated rather than the regular celebration of those with the financial powers. She also used the opportunity to seek the unflinching support and prayer of the press in easing the tasks ahead.
