The National Film and Video Censors Board has lifted the ban placed on the movie ‘Sugar Rush’.
The NFVCB announced this via its twitter handle, @NFVCB Nigeria, on Thursday.
The film, which has grossed about N160m since its release on December 25, 2019, was removed from cinemas by the NFVCB, the Federal Government agency responsible for classifying movies and giving approval for release.
NFVCB Boss explained that Sugar Rush did not have full approval before hitting the cinemas, so the movie was given a temporary approval pending the classification and final approval of the movie, adding that period within which the temporary approval could be used had lapsed.
