Dear Community,

Love Your Menses, Inc has been promoting menstrual equity across the globe through our menstrual wellness education workshops and distribution of menstrual products. We have also created global partners in 5 different countries, Haiti is one of those countries that we have collaborated with and have a positive relationship with.

Despite the effect of the COVID pandemic, on August 14, 2021, Haiti experienced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that affected the Southwestern region of Haiti. This led to the death of an estimated 2,200 individuals, injuring over 12,000 residents, and affecting the health and quality of life of thousands of people. Some of the people within our Love Your Menses, Haiti community were deeply affected.

Including many of our students and their mothers who
do not have access to food and water talk more of menstrual products.
In an effort to help our Haitian community, Love Your Menses teamed up with Impact For Community Change to provide relief to residents affected by the earthquake. Specifically, we will be sending menstrual products, personal care products and medical supplies. These items will be distributed in Haiti under the leadership of our project manager, Dr. Carine

Antoine, who currently resides and works as a Community Health Educator and Physician in Haiti.
