Whitmer: State should increase purchases from disadvantaged businesses

The state must attempt to buy more from small businesses in disadvantaged areas and increase contracts with them under an executive directive signed on Friday by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The Federal Government and organised labour in the country on Tuesday finally reached an agreement that the Presidency would send the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill to the National Assembly after three days of meetings.
